The exclusive content could allegedly consist of “bonus tweets, access to a community group, subscription to a newsletter, or a badge for your support”.
Twitter said it also plans to look into a tipping option and will provide additional details “in the coming months”.
Another upcoming feature the company is planning to introduce is called “Communities.” Similar to Facebook groups, these features allow users to create and join groups geared towards specific interests.
Twitter hasn’t specified when to test the new features or when they could officially launch.
