Half of marketers say the COVID-19 pandemic affected their email strategy. This is the result of recent research by Mailjet.
The report is based on data from a survey of 760 email marketers.
Around 50% of respondents say their email strategy has changed because of the pandemic, 35% say their strategy hasn’t changed, 13% say their strategy has changed but the cause it wasn’t the pandemic and 2% are unsure.
56% of respondents say they have sent a higher volume of emails since the start of the pandemic, 15% say they have sent a lower volume of emails and 30% say that their email has changed – Volume has not changed.
49% of respondents say they’ve sent emails at a higher frequency since the pandemic started, 15% say they’ve sent at a lower frequency, and 36% say their email frequency was stayed the same.
