Motorcycling is a perfect outdoor and socially distant pandemic activity, and Harley-Davidson wants to make sure that people new to it do it properly and safely.
Through December 31, the motorcycle company will be giving out 500 passes to its Harley-Davidson Riding Academy to non-riders nominated by friends and family via Instagram or Twitter.
To enter on Instagram or Twitter, users can upload their favorite Harley-Davidson motorcycle picture and tag the non-rider they want to send to the academy. The hashtags #GiftOfRiding and #Giveaway must be included.
A total of 500 winners will be selected, with non-riders receiving a free Harley-Davidson Riding Academy class and $ 200 Harley-Davidson gear gift card, while those nominating them will receive $ 100 gift cards.
The Harley-Davidson Riding Academy has certified touring coaches that cover the basics of driver safety, motorcycle operation, braking, turning, and other navigational maneuvers.
Harley-Davidson, Vice President Marketing Theo Keetell, said in a statement, “The thrill of riding with your best friend and reconnecting through an adventure together is the gift you will give again and again. From back roads to coastal freeways, motorcycling offers open-air exploration to free your soul and sense of adventure. “
